Draft Regulation Respecting Land Protection and Rehabilitation

This draft regulation was developed as a means to better protect the rights of future purchasers and users of land located in areas where multiple land use is permitted and to promote rehabilitation of such sites.

The draft regulation will serve to establish threshold limits that will apply to land where commercial or industrial activities have been carried out. These thresholds correspond to the contamination threshold standards that have been determined on the basis of land use.
