Coupez le moteur! Program

Budgets for a number of 2006-2012 Climate Change Action Plan programs were revised in August 2011. In the case of the Coupez le moteur! (Turn off your motor!) program, the Ministère will honour all project commitments that have already been made, but will be unable to accept new applications for financial assistance. Nonetheless, it will continue to advise municipalities and support them in their efforts to reduce motor vehicle engine idling.
