SAgE Pesticides

This information tool enables informed choice through a better understanding of the risks certain pesticides represent for human health and the environment. It provides easy, quick and free access to databases on pesticides authorized for use in Eastern Canada on most plants that are found in Québec. It is meant for agricultural advisors and all pesticide users.

SAgE Pesticides is aimed at rational and safe pesticide management. Its databases provide information on the toxic effects of active pesticide ingredients on human health and on life forms for which the applied pesticides are not intended, as well as facts about how these products behave in the environment.

SAgE Pesticides was developed by the ministère du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et des Parcs in cooperation with the ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation and the Institut national de santé publique du Québec.
