Québec and California will hold a tenth joint cap-and-trade emissions units auction on February 22, 2017

Québec, December 22, 2016 – The Ministère du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques (MDDELCC), and the California Air Ressources Board (ARB), announced today that a tenth joint carbon market auction will be held on February 22, 2017.

The publication of the Auction Notice, which includes the number of emissions units for sale, minimum prices, and application requirements, marks the beginning of the application period. The application period closes January 23, 2017.
