Quebec and California Will Hold a Fourth Joint Cap-and-Trade Emissions Units Auction on August 18, 2015

Québec, June 19, 2015 – The Ministère du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques (MDDELCC), and the California Air Ressources Board (ARB), announced today that the fourth joint carbon market auction will be held on August 18, 2015.

The publication of the Auction Notice, which includes the number of emissions units for sale, minimum prices, and application requirements, marks the beginning of the application period. The application period closes on July 20, 2015.
