The Water Withdrawal and Protection Regulation provides the framework for drilling and setting up residential drinking water wells. Two short videos produced by the Réseau québécois sur les eaux souterraines (RQES) in co-operation with the Direction de l’eau potable et des eaux souterraines (DEPES) of the Ministère are available to ensure that wells comply with the terms of the Regulation:
